Job Title: Team Leader, Information & Analysis
Employment Type: Full time or Part Time, Ongoing
Hours: 38 hours per week as Full Time or, 30.4 hours per week as Part Time
Closing date: 9am on Tuesday February 19th 2019.
Description: The Team Leader, Information & Analysis is responsible for overseeing the reporting and data collection activities at EDVOS. This includes ensuring EDVOS is compliant with funding body requirements for data collection and submission, liaising with funding bodies, review and monitor the system at EDVOS to ensure data collection meets both external and internal data requirements. Proactively work with management and staff to improve data collection accuracy and relevance. Communicate regularly with management regarding data collection and performance against targets.
This position has a key role in supporting EDVOS through the provision of data and detailed analysis, to ensure that it meets the needs of the community in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

Job Title: Specialist Family Violence Advocate
Employment Type: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week

Description: We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and dedicated professionals to the position of Specialist Family Violence Advocate, Intensive Case Management. The Intensive Case Management team provides medium to long term support for women and children experiencing complex challenges as a result of family violence including supporting women and children referred to the Eastern Risk Assessment Management Panel (RAMP). These roles may be undertaken within the office environment or outreach and co-location settings.

Job Title: Specialist Family Violence Advocate, After Hours Response Team
Employment Type: Casual
Hours: As required
Closing date: COB Thursday February 28th 2019
Description: The AHRFV Specialist Family Violence Advocate provides phone as well as face to face support for women and children throughout the Eastern Region, who are experiencing family violence and require immediate support between 5pm and 9am the following day.
The AHFVR team responds to referrals from Safe Steps 24/7 based on a roster that includes 5pm to 9am weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays. When there are no referrals, team members may work from EDVOS’ Ringwood office any time between 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 5pm Saturdays.

Volunteer with us
Volunteers significantly help EDVOS to deliver much-needed services. If you or someone you know has spare time, why not consider volunteering?
We welcome help with a range of tasks including database maintenance, data entry, reception and general administration. Or, you could help to organise our enormous stock of donated toys! There’s also an opportunity to help out with our client intake processes.
All roles will be well-supervised and volunteers will receive appropriate training. If you share our values and believe in the right of women and children to live free of violence, we encourage you to contact us.
Volunteering is a rewarding way to connect with the local community and your help will provide invaluable support to women and children in need.
Become a member
We welcome women that live, work or study in the eastern metropolitan region to become an EDVOS member. Active participation contributes directly EDVOS’ work for women and children in the eastern metropolitan region.
Membership entitles women to participate in General Meetings and nominate for positions on the Board.
The Membership elects a Board of Governance at the Annual General Meeting. The Board governs EDVOS and appoints the Chief Executive Officer.
Membership is renewed annually. A copy of the EDVOS Constitution is available upon request/membership.
